Pineapple fruit contains vitamin C which can be obtained through direct consumption or consumed after processing, such as into juice. Vitamin C in fruit juice may decrease with the storage time, but the decrease in vitamin C levels can be suppressed by adding sweeteners. The purpose of this study was to determine the presence and absence of differences in vitamin C levels in pineapple juice with the addition of natural sweeteners and artificial sweeteners based on the length of storage time.

The type of research used is purely experimental. The study population was all pineapples harvested from pineapple plantations, Tani Bakti Village, Samboja District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The sample was pineapple juice made from Queen variety pineapple fruit with 4 variations of 10% concentration sweetener: sucrose, saccharin, cyclamate, and aspartame, and 1 variation of unsweetened control. With 4 variations of storage time namely 0, 30, 60, and 120 minutes. Analysis of vitamin C levels is carried out using the iodimetric titration method.

The results of the study found natural sweeteners and artificial sweeteners can suppress the decrease in vitamin C levels in pineapple juice when stored. The data from the study was then carried out static tests and obtained a value of p≤0.05 which showed that there was a difference in vitamin C levels in pineapple juice with the addition of natural sweeteners sucrose and artificial sweeteners saccharin, cyclamate, and aspartame during the storage period. After further static tests were carried out and it was found that based on all storage times there was a significant difference between sucrose-sweetened fruit juice, against control fruit juice with a p-value of ≤0.05. While from pineapple fruit juice other sweeteners did not show any significant difference from control pineapple fruit juice (unsweetened).
Linda Sari Dwi Setyaningsih, Eka Farpina, Ganea Qorry Aina ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.akjp2.ac.id/index.php/jstlm/article/view/141 Thu, 02 Nov 2023 01:52:14 +0000 ANALYSIS OF UREUM LEVELS AND FASTING BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS IN CONVENTIONAL SMOKERS AND VAPE SMOKERS OF PRODUCTIVE AGE 18-21 YEARS OLD https://jurnal.akjp2.ac.id/index.php/jstlm/article/view/144
Conventional cigarettes and vape cigarettes contain nicotine. However, farmers are worried about pest attacks, so they choose to use pesticides in order to increase agricultural yields. Therefore, in Indonesia, many farmers use pesticides, especially in East Kalimantan, precisely in the village of Loa Janan Ulu. The use of pesticides that violate the rules can endanger health, one of which is liver damage. Examination of SGOT (Serum Glutamic Oxoloacetic Transminase) and SGPT (Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transminase) levels is one of the markers of liver damage, therefore this study aims to determine the average levels of SGOT and SGPT and the percentage of SGOT and SGPT levels that exceed the normal rate in farmers who use pesticides. The type of research used is descriptive with purposive sampling technique where the number of samples is 37 people. Based on the results, the highest average SGOT levels are at the age of 30-50 years (56 U/L) and work duration >10 years (55 U/L). While the highest average SGPT levels are aged 30-50 years (40 U/L) and have worked >10 years (39 U/L) and the percentage of SGOT levels is 95% and SGPT levels are 46% which exceeds the normal rate. It can be concluded that the average levels of SGOT and SGPT are highest at the age of 30-50 years and have worked for >10 years with a higher percentage of SGOT levels that exceed the normal rate than SGPT.

Keywords: Fermers, Pesticide, SGOT, SGPT
Handa Nofianti Rosadi ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.akjp2.ac.id/index.php/jstlm/article/view/145 Thu, 02 Nov 2023 02:13:41 +0000 ANALYSIS OF CHOLINESTERASE ENZYME LEVELS IN FARMERS WHO USE PESTICIDES IN LOA JANAN ULU VILLAGE https://jurnal.akjp2.ac.id/index.php/jstlm/article/view/146
In Indonesia, many farmers use pesticides, especially in East Kalimantan, specifically in Loa Janan Ulu Village. Farmers use pesticides as an effort to reduce pest or insect attacks. The use of pesticides poses a risk to humans in the form of acute chronic poisoning and even death. Cholinesterase is an enzyme found in cell fluids whose job is to stop the action of acetylcholine by hydrolyzing it into choline and acetic acid. The aim of this research was to determine the levels of the cholinesterase enzyme in farmers who use pesticides in Loa Janan Ulu village. The type of research used was descriptive with a sample of 80 farmers in Loa Janan Ulu village who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling, with univariate analysis. The research results are based on the characteristics of respondents in the largest age group, namely 51-60 years (15 respondents), working period 21-30 years (14 respondents). The frequency of spraying was once a week (25 respondents). It can be concluded that in 33 samples the cholinesterase enzyme levels of 95% of farmers met normal standards and 5% did not meet normal standards.

Niken Syafitri ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.akjp2.ac.id/index.php/jstlm/article/view/146 Thu, 02 Nov 2023 02:53:17 +0000 OBSERVASI KADAR SGOT DAN SGPT PADA PEROKOK AKTIF BERDASARKAN USIA DEWASA DI WILAYAH BUKUAN RT 13 https://jurnal.akjp2.ac.id/index.php/jstlm/article/view/142
Smoking is a common bad habit worldwide and has the potential to cause a variety of serious diseases, including liver disorders.
